Community Guidelines

What belongs

• Personal testimony anchored to a verse or passage - what God did in you.
• Questions asked in humility, not to trap or perform.
• Encouragement drawn from scripture, not from opinion.
• Confession, gratitude, prayer requests, breakthrough moments.

What doesn't

• Doctrinal warfare. Denominational takedowns, "correct theology" posts aimed at another user, cage-stage anything.
• Hate. Content that dehumanizes anyone on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender, or disability.
• Harassment. Targeting, doxxing, threats, or unwanted repeated contact with another user.
• Sexual content involving minors. Zero tolerance. This is reported to authorities.
• Sexual content generally. Explicit imagery, solicitation, or graphic descriptions.
• Self-harm content. Content encouraging or glorifying suicide or self-harm. If you are in crisis, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (US) or your local emergency services.
• Violence or terror. Threats, incitement, glorification, or planning of violence.
• Illegal activity. Content promoting or facilitating illegal acts.
• Copyright violations. Wholesale reposting of copyrighted material without license.
• Spam. Advertising, MLM recruiting, chain messages, repeat posts, bot-generated text.
• Impersonation. Pretending to be someone else, pretending to speak for Marturia, or claiming credentials you don't have.
• Prosperity gospel solicitation. "God told me you need to send me..." schemes.

How enforcement works

Every testimony can be reported by any signed-in user. Reports go to a moderation queue and are reviewed by hand. Content that violates these guidelines is removed. The author is notified when possible.

First-time minor violations get a warning and content removal. Repeated or severe violations (hate, harassment, sexual content involving minors, threats) result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination without refund (there are no refunds; Marturia is free).

You can also block another user. Blocked users cannot see your testimonies in their feed, react to them, or appear in yours. Block controls appear on each user's testimonies.

How to report

Tap the "..." menu on any testimony and choose "Report." Choose a reason. Submit. Reports are confidential; the reported user is not told who reported them.

For urgent safety concerns (imminent harm, exploitation of a minor), email oubigeej@gmail.comdirectly with "URGENT" in the subject.

One more thing

You will disagree with other users. That's fine. Marturia doesn't ask you to abandon your convictions. It asks that you speak the way scripture asks you to - with grace, seasoned with salt, in humility - especially when the other person is wrong.
